As a front-end developer for Pacers Sports and Entertainment (Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Mad Ants, Gainbridge Fieldhouse) since 2019, I have worked to bring innovation to the brand properties through custom integrations and interactive build-outs. The teams’ (Pacers, Fever) sites are built on Drupal and WordPress and are controlled by the respective leagues. Despite these constraints, I have worked within the league frameworks to build out components that add creativity and ultimately get higher levels of interaction.
For this reason, most projects involve API integration from league feed sources, pulling appropriate data and displaying it in interactive and creative ways.
I also lead the redesign of the Gainbridge Fieldhouse website (formerly Bankers Life Fieldhouse) in 2019. The project finished on budget with an easy-to-use, cutting edge product.
I worked with a team and vendors to rebuild a more user-friendly Pacers Mobile App that has integrations for ticketing, mapping, pro shops, touchless wallet, and other innovative features.
